Information for the Media

Eating disorders are important subjects, and raising awareness of the issues involved is something we are very passionate about. For this reason, it is our policy at EDA to try to respond positively to media requests, providing that the article/programme fits in with the objectives set out in our strategy, and that we feel it is to be handled in an appropriate and sensitive manner. In return for our help all we ask is that you publish our help-line details at the end of your piece so that those reading or viewing your work can be signposted to us.

We take very seriously the responsibility involved in passing information to the general public through the media and therefore follow some strict guidelines about how we take part.

We ask you not to telephone us on the help-line numbers and that if you have been invited to speak to us by phone that you use the general enquiries telephone number only, which can be found here.
