Service update
Support over Christmas and more 1:1 support calls for 2022
We know Christmas can be a particularly challenging time for anyone living with an eating disorder. Here’s when we’re available over the main Christmas and New Year period both for you and for family or friends.
Plus, there's an important change to our services from 4th January 2022.
Up to and over Christmas
Up to 23rd December - all support services will be running as normal. You can get in touch with us here.
30th December - Jo and Claire from our support team will be available for booked 1:1 support calls only, 9am-4pm. Book here.
From 4th January – support services re-open with extended 1:1 support calls – see below.

Download our free guide 'Coping at Christmas' - tips and suggestions for ways to make Christmas easier and more enjoyable, for you, and for families and friends who are supporting a loved one with an eating disorder. It also includes details of other support services that are open during the Christmas period.
More 1:1 Support Calls & changes to telephone helpline
Due to increasing demand for our booked 1:1 support calls, from 4th January we will be increasing the number of appointment times available each week.
Demand for our services has never been higher and the ways in which people contact us or use our services has changed a lot over the past 18 months with more and more people using our online services including Zoom and online chat.
As a result, we are extending the number of slots to offer appointments from 9am – 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
This change also means that the telephone helpline will close from this date. We have closely monitored how people prefer to contact us over the past two years, and with demand for focussed 1:1 appointments growing, it is clear we need to expand in that area to keep up with requests for our help and support.
Of course, if you prefer to talk to us by telephone, you can still do so by choosing ‘telephone’ when booking a 1:1 support call. Find out how here.
